Happy New Year! New Years Eve was surprisingly fun. I was contemplating going out because I am not the type of person that goes out and parties a lot but I figured I would go out and celebrate with my girlfriend and make her happy. We went to a bar in Providence called Olives with my girlfriends best friend, Britt and her boyfriend, Matt and a bunch of other mutual friends. Once the ball dropped we didn't stick around much after 1 am. We ended up back at Britt's apartment and ordered pizza and just hung out. New Years Day was a long one though. Started off by an early birthday party for myself (January 5th) and belated birthday party my 2 year-old niece Romy, whose birthday is December 26th, at my sister Linda's house. It's always fun to go hangout with my sister and her family and it's always good to get the rest of the family together as well. My girlfriend Samantha finally got to come and meet my family for the first time. I also took some cool pictures of the kids, their dogs, and a number of other things. However, My heart almost stopped as a dropped my lens on the floor today. Luckily just the filter on the lens broke and not the actually lens. That's what the filters are made for and I guess I got lucky. After the party Samantha and I came home and watched the Boston Bruins play the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game at 7 p.m. Bruins won their 10th Straight win and their 14th Straight win at home. Not to mention my favorite player, PJ Axelsson had a goal and an assist so I had an overall good day except for the dropping of my lens and breaking the filter, but that just gives me a reason to go to the camera store and spend a little money tomorrow. Here's a few pictures from my day. They are in the opposite order in which they occurred though. I can't seem to figure out how to upload pictures very well on this thing.

SK6 in Boston
I went to see the band Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers at Club Passim in Cambridge, Massachusetts with my girlfriend Samantha and my sister, Elise last night. It was a great show as always and it was Sam's first time seeing them so she was very excited.I have seen them over ten times and my sister is a die-hard fan and has over 45+ SK6 shows under her belt. Club Passim is a very small and easily-sold-out venue. The only bad thing is that it's also a Vegan restaurant so we decided to eat before the show across the street at The Border Cafe. One chicken and cheese Quesadilla for the 3 of us and we were surprisingly stuffed. The night was overall a good night. Here's a few photos below. The lighting was tough and just got a new lens the morning of the show so I was still getting used to it. enjoy.
